Thinking you are special?
If you’re still thinking that you achieved a lot, good for you and please accept my congratulations!:)

And as a word of explanation. I don’t think that only Americans are stupid. I’m sure that if such concert would take place in Poland, the situation would be the same. But maybe somebody could tell me how people can save our environment by polluting the air with their cars and by leaving tons of garbages. I really don’t know.
The only one person who get there by bicycle was the CNN reporter. I know that it’s very popular to be a poser nowadays, in every country on the globe, but I don’t think that it’s the right way to change something. How shallow must be human, who is happy because his friends are thinking that he is trying to do something good. But in reality he did nothing.
Agent: “Hello. I would like to order 19 large pizzas and 67 cans of soda.”
Pizza Man: “And where would you like them delivered?”
Agent: “We’re over at the psychiatric hospital.”
Pizza Man: “To the psychiatric hospital?”
Agent: “That’s right. I’m an FBI agent.”
Pizza Man: “You’re an FBI agent?”
Agent: “That’s correct. Just about everybody here is.”
Pizza Man: “And you’re at the psychiatric hospital?”
Agent: “That’s correct. And make sure you don’t go through the
front doors. We have them locked. You will have to go
around the back to the service entrance to deliver the pizzas.”
Pizza Man: “And you say you’re all FBI agents?”
Agent: “That’s right. How soon can you have them here?”
Pizza Man: “And everyone at the psychiatric hospital is an FBI agent?”
Agent: “That’s right. We’ve been here all day, and we’re starving.”
Pizza Man: “How are you going to pay for all of this?”
Agent: “I have my checkbook right here.”
Pizza Man: “And you’re all FBI agents?”
Agent: “That’s right. Everyone here is an FBI agent. Can you
remember to bring the pizzas and sodas to the service
entrance in the rear? We have the front doors locked.”
Pizza Man: “I don’t think so.”
Also it is tradition that if somebody compare anybody to Hitler or Nazi, the discussion is over and person who used such argument is considered as “looser”. It also sounds like nonsense to me, but maybe I’m reading wrong Usenet newsgroups or forums. I don’t know.
Godwin’s Law
Oh, and maybe it’s like that because Hitler and Nazis means more for Polish guy, than for other nations and we don’t use such names very often. Maybe because we really knew what it means.
I saw a new movie of Quentin, Grindhouse: Death Proof. And I must say that it’s amazing. Beatiful music, climate of real road movie, and pictures. The pictures in movie are awesome, they are stylized to look like from the 70’s movie. Film reel is dirty with scratches, sometimes it jumps, sometimes it’s black and white. It’s excellent. And of course dialogs, yes, dialogs are the Quentin’s masterpiece. You feel all the aspects of character, and you know who he really is from the way he talks. I’m very impressed. Last, but not least, are stunt scenes. They are tremendous, you have mouth wide open when you watch it, and when there’s a really dangerous situations you’re beggining to clutch your fists. Oh, and one more thing, girls:) Yes, they’re beatiful, sexy and very self-confident. Watch the lap dance scene and you’ll get what I mean. Also the music in that scene is very, very hot.
I’m moving through the city by public transport for near a month now. And I’m sick of it! Yes, I’m grambling.
If you never used public transport in Warsaw, you don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ll describe it shortly. I’m getting up at 6 am to get a shower, eat breakfast, etc. At 7:30 I’m leaving home to get to the bus stop, luckily just few meters from the place I live. Bus should be there at 7:39, but mostly it’s 7:35, or something like that. Whatever. I’m entering the bus and from this point party starts. First it’s cool because I have a place to sit and there are not so many people around me. But in just 2-3 minutes bus gets overcrowded, and I mean badly overcrowded. People are everywhere, you don’t have enough place to move a muscle. Buses in Poland have no air conditioning in general, so temperature inside is… Well, let’s just say that hell is on earth sometimes:) And now the main part of my description. All womans shouldn’t read any further;) People in Polish buses smell like… I don’t know, some wild animal i would like to say, but no. Animals are cleaning themselves from time to time, but these people don’t. So it smells really badly. And I have to travel in such conditions for an hour.
When I’m getting back from work it’s even worst. And it’s another hour.
What to write in the first post on my new blog… I have never liked blogs. But now, maybe because I’m getting old, I feel that I should have one. So, here it is.
Something about me? OK. My name is Peter, I’m from Poland, and I’m computer geek interested in movies and Stephen King’s books.
Why this blog is in English, not Polish? Well, my very best friend of mine is American, so it would be kind to let her understand what I’m writing. Also one of guys who I met when I visited USA said “If you have something to say, you should say it in language most people would understand”. It’s not exactly what he said, but it’s the way I understood him:) Thanks John!
