Android, locale and timezone

Strange thing with locale on Android. If it’s set to US English it would display date in your calendar widget using US timezone, even if there is correct date set in the system and you’re in European network with automatic update enabled. Switch to UK English helped to solve it, but it’s really weird. Maybe it’s just this particular widget, as when I’ve accessed calendar I was able to see the correct date. It’s repro on Android 2.1, maybe they’ve fixed it already.
